Salman Khan's "Kick" has crossed the ₹180 crore mark at the Indian box office and the film is fast approaching the ₹200 crore mark.

The action comedy entertainer has been doing rocking business ever since it hit the screens on 25 July. Its collections have been fantastic in both India and overseas markets. The film earned ₹164.09 crore in its opening week and surpassed the first week collections of "Chennai Express" (₹156.70 crore). 

The Salman Khan has starrer ended the first week on a grand note. Its second week collections are also expected to be good as there have been no big bollywood releases. The film minted ₹9.22 crore on Friday (1 August) and ₹10.62 crore on Saturday (2 August). Its nine-day collections from domestic box office stand at ₹183.93 crore.

"Kick" to Beat "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Ek Tha Tiger" Lifetime Collections 

"Kick" 10-day India collections, including Sunday figures, will surpass Ranbir Kapoor's "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" ("YJHD") lifetime collections (₹188.57 crore). The film will emerge as the sixth highest grossing bollywood film of all time. 

The action entertainer is all likely to surpass "Ek Tha Tiger" lifetime collections (₹198.78 crore) in a couple of days. [Note: The figures are referred from Bollywood Hungama]

"Kick" will be Salman Khan's first film to enter into the ₹200 crore club in India alone. The elite club has films of other popular bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan ("Chennai Express"), Hrithik Roshan ("Krrish 3") and Aamir Khan ("Dhoom 3" and "3 Idiots").

The film is also doing good business in foreign markets. It has surpassed the ₹50-crore mark at the overseas box office.

The Salman Khan starrer has already been declared a blockbuster. The film is expected to fare well until Friday (8 August) when Akshay Kumar-Tamannaah Bhatia's "Entertainment" hits the screens. The release of the slapstick comedy film might reduce the screen count for "Kick." It will be interesting to see how these films perform when they clash at the box office.
