Prince Mahesh Babu's 'aagadu' audio launch function was held amidst huge fanfare at Shilpakala Vedika of Hyderabad on 30th of August. The highlights and sidelights of this function are as follows.
HIGHLIIGHTS:
* India's top director Shankar attended the function as a chief guest. Suresh Babu, M Shyam Prasad Reddy, Dil Raju, Sukumar and many more biggies graced the function as guests, apart from the film's cast and crew. Superstar Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala also attended the function.
* Jhansi has done anchoring in the function.
* Thaman and Bhaskarabhatla said their favourite song in the movie was 'Saroja'.
* Title song was unveiled by M Shyam Prasad Reddy.
* AVs on Thaman, Srinu Vaitla were shown.
* A special instrument that flies with the help of joy stick was used to launch the songs.
* Krishna said he liked the dialogue 'What to do what not to do' from the movie. He hoped the movie would beat all the industry records. He unveiled the theatrical trailer of the movie.
* Vijayanirmala suggested 'Andagadu' title for Mahesh's next project movie makers.
* Brahmanandam praised Mahesh as the romantic hero.
* Dil Raju expressed his confidence that the movie would create Industry's all time Record.
* Shankar praised Mahesh shows subtle performance in his movies.
* Sudheer Babu, Nasser, Sukumar and some more guests, who addressed the gathering wished the movie's success.
* Srinu Vaitla reiterated that Mahesh showed just 10% in 'Dookudu' but showed 100% in 'aagadu'.
* Mahesh in his speech thanked everybody who were associated with the movie. He revealed the release date of 'aagadu' as September 19.
SIDELIGHTS:
* Heroine Tamannah could not grace the occasion.
* Anchor Jhansi expressed her favouratism on Mahesh Babu many times.
* Audiences were irked with the poor sound system, that interrupted the program many times.
* Mahesh was seen in his usual get up.
* 'Jabardasth's team performed a skit that tested the tolerance of the audiences.
* 'Saroja' song was enjoyed by the audiences while there was not that good response to other songs.
