The first look of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, "The Shaukeens" has been released.
The film also features Liza Hayden and three veteran actors Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra in significant roles.
Kumar, who has done some of the best comedy flicks in his career, seems to be ready to deliver another hilarious performance in the upcoming film.
The official Twitter handle of the film has revealed two posters of the Kumar starrer.
The first poster has the leads, Kumar, Hayden and the three older men, who are seen having quite a fun time.
In the second poster, Hayden, who is known for her sexy looks and performance in the blockbuster film "Queen", looks scorching hot. The actress is seen posing with a football, and the three oldies are seen wooing the lady.
Going by the first look posters, it appears like the Kumar starrer will surely take the audiences for a fun ride.
"The Shaukeens" is the remake of the 1982 comedy film directed by Basu Chatterjee with the same title starring Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt, AK Hangal, Rati Agnihotri and Mithun Chakraborty.
The plot of the original version was based on three old men who wanted to add some spice to their boring lives. When these men try to impress the sexy woman (Agnihotri) who is in love with a handsome man (Chakraborty), they land themselves in some hilarious situations.
In the remake, Kapoor, Mishra and Kher will essay the roles of the three oldies.
The film, directed by Abhishek Sharma of "Tere Bin Laden" fame, is touted to be a "coming-of-age" movie. The comedy film is slated to hit the silver screens on 7 November.
Meanwhile, Kumar, who garnered praises for his recently released "Entertainment", has several other projects in his kitty. He will next star in Neeraj Pandey's "Baby" and will start working in "Gabbar", "Karan Johar's "Brothers", "Housefull 3" among others.
