A mall in Vijayawada witnessed pathetic scenes when stampede occurred in a mall. The audio function of 'Oka Laila Kosam' was held in the mall and fans tried to enter the mall in big numbers to catch a glimpse of their favorite actors, including hero Naga Chaitanya.
But due to heavy rush, as stampede occurred and several women and children fell on the ground. An escalator in the mall was destoryed. The audio function was subsequently put off.
